Who Can Participate?
Any Ward 5 resident who is eligible to vote in the November election and considers themselves a member of the DFL Party can participate.

How to Participate in the Caucus
Step 1: Attend the Caucus
Arrive early to check in and find your precinct’s meeting location.
Bring proof of residency (such as a utility bill or ID with your current address).
Step 2: Support Miles Wilson
Show your support by nominating Miles Wilson as the endorsed candidate for Ward 5.
Cast your vote to help determine the candidate endorsement and influence key party resolutions that shape the future of our community!
Step 3: Become a Delegate
Want to take an active role? Sign up to be a delegate and represent Ward 5 at the Minneapolis DFL Convention.
Can’t Attend? Submit a Non-Attendee Form!
If you can’t make it in person, you can still support Miles Wilson by submitting a Non-Attendee Form. This allows you to be part of the process even if you're unavailable on caucus night.

The METRO Blue Line Extension represents a transformative opportunity for Ward 5 and the greater Twin Cities area. Stretching 13.4 miles, this light rail expansion will connect North Minneapolis to Robbinsdale, Crystal, Brooklyn Park, the airport, and the Mall of America.
This project promises:
• Improved transit access in historically underserved areas.
• Direct, seamless travel for residents and workers.
• Economic investment in BIPOC communities.
• A commitment to reducing regional disparities and dependence on cars.
However, Miles believes that progress must be inclusive. He is committed to performing due diligence by researching every detail of this major construction project and bringing community voices to the forefront. Miles will host forums and listening sessions to ensure residents’ insights and concerns guide the planning and implementation process.
